          The LANGAR is being served to public in a street of Lyari one of the old locality of the city. LANGAR is a form of eating which is offered to general public, i.e. whoever wants to come and dine for free, can do so. A group of 4-6 people sit by making a circle and between them a larger plate called THAALA or THAAL filled with the BIRYANI, PULAO, HALEEM, or ZARDA -the local dishes, are generally served for their dine. These charitable kind of eating are arranged on various celebration days.
